ENGINEERING & TOOLING

DESIGNED FOR THE PRESS.
NOT THE SCREEN.

Early DFM analysis, tool qualification, and tryout, so the part that leaves the press matches the part on the drawing.

Ground Truth

A CAD model
never flashes.

The difference between a beautiful prototype and a profitable production run is how the tooling is engineered, built, validated, and managed. What works on screen still has to work in the press.

Our engineers manage your tooling from design through production, working directly with trusted toolmakers and manufacturing partners to make sure every detail performs as intended. We oversee DFM, tool design, build progress, sampling, validation, and revisions, closing the loop between engineering and production before small problems become expensive ones.

Your Tool
Lives Here.

Every mold that runs in our presses is qualified, maintained, and revised in our own toolroom, for the full production life of the part. Multi-axis CNC, wire and sinker EDM, and mold repair sit down the hall from the engineers running your program.

When a cavity needs a steel change mid-program, the tool moves down the hall. Not into a crate.

New builds are sourced to the build partner that fits the program's cost and timing. Every one of them is qualified here before it runs a production part, and we tell you where your tool was built during qualification, in writing.

Trust, but
verify.

We do not guess whether a part is to print. The measurement is written into the job before the run starts.

Both plants run a quality control lab. Method is chosen by feature, tolerance, and customer requirement: automated optical measurement, OGP optical systems, digital microscopy, and calibrated gauge pins, blocks, micrometers, and calipers. Inspection fixtures are printed in house. All measuring equipment is calibrated annually by an outside lab.

An inspection plan is written for each job, with critical dimensions set with you. In-process inspection runs every hour of the production run. Data work includes SPC and Cpk and Ppk capability studies, reviewed with production and engineering while the job is still on the press.

Start with a conversation. Tell us what you are building and our engineers will talk through geometry, moldability, and tooling options. We sign an NDA if you require it.
